It’s late. I’m planning a class for my friends @flowhotyoga in the morning...Be in your roughness so you can know and feel more your smoothness. Be in the joy or pleasure or any other feeling that can be found in the intrepid inside discoveries and the nowness, nowness, nowness not just in what’s familiar like striking an old pose in full glory, life to be lived or life is lived in the process of practice. There’s no point to practice, that’s not the point. Any point might just be pointing toward the illusion or delusion of something else over there, not here.

Be on the edge of balance. We wake up here. Not always in the slipstream of unconscious competence. Thank you @gavbarbey for drawing me.

Sam and I are planning our retreat. I’m crafting a few practices to dive in to our vital organs. Notes about the brain - housed within the 22 arching bones of the skull and bathed in the nourishing, protective cerebrospinal fluid our vital brain. The brain and its tail streams down wrapped in a myelin sheath which protects, insulates, transmits. Our spinal chord flowing down through the interconnected bones of the spine, and strands, leaf like flowing throughout and within our whole body - a conversation central to peripheral, inside and back. Both two ways and more one way as is the case with our heart and gut having more to say to the brain than the other way around.

What is our experience of the brain? The effects of simple yoga and movement and rest practice to support our mind at ease?
