Tonia Dixon
Originally from London, Tonia has been here for 10 years. Her style of teaching brings to life her passion for making yoga accessible to all. She values the process of self enquiry, to help deepen our own understanding of ourselves on and off the mat. She believes in understanding the “why” and focuses on introducing anatomy to her students to enrich them with the knowledge of the physical form, as well as providing guidance into the emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga.
Tonia has a passion for sound and believes that this can have a profound impact on self healing, reducing anxiety and calming the mind. She likes to weave her love of sound through sound bowls into her classes.
Whether she is teaching Movement, Yin or Restorative there is always an element of fun, ease and a connection to the rhythm and the breath of the body.
Tonia completed her 200 hours of teacher training with Contemporary Yoga in 2017 and Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release Training in 2017.
