Yin Yoga - Karin
Yin Yoga taught By Karin Michelle Sang is a meditative and profoundly relaxing practice, nourishing the deeper tissues of our body, regaining ease and mobility in our joints, relieving tension and pain while calming the nervous system. The simple passive seated and lying poses are held without muscle activation with the support of blankets, bolsters and blocks for 3 – 5 minutes. We stimulate and enhance the flow of energy through the body to create a profound sense of calmness, focus and equanimity.

Led Ashtanga - Vicki
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. Pattabhi Jois (1915 – 2009) was a student of Krishnamacharia. His grandson R. Sharath Jois (1971 – 2024) continued to teach in Mysore until he passed recently. His mother, Pattabi Jois’s daughter, Saraswathi continues to teach today.
Ashtanga Yoga is a set series of asana (physical poses) that are linked together dynamically with the breath. Students are led through a progressive series of poses maintaining a rhythmic pace with the breath and detail of the asana.
For bookings contact Vicki
Led to Mysore Style - Vicki
In this class the standing poses are led with Sanskrit counting which helps develop rhythmic breathing. Once on the floor (seated poses) the class transitions to Mysore style or self practice (traditional method of teaching Ashtanga) where the teacher provides individual guidance and adjustments. Students work through the series of poses at their own pace.

Hatha / Shadow Yoga - Martina
Led Hatha / Shadow Intro: Therapy, heal
This is the perfect class if you are new to yoga, new to Hatha Yoga in the Shadow Yoga method, have any injuries or special needs, or are returning to yoga after an extended break.
In this class Standing Warm-ups (joint rotations), Uddiyana Bandha, Basic Squats, Linear Salutations, Basic Stances and Seats (Asana), Simple Seated Conclusion including breath work with arm movements (Prana Mudra) & Finishing practises including accessible mudra and rub down (Vyapaka) are introduced, workshopped with therapeutic
options provided for those that need.
Led Hatha / Shadow Beginners: Grow, explore
In this class the three Prelude Forms (Yyayama) are introduced. These forms are a combination of various warrior (viraparampara) and sun forms (suryanamaskaras) which act as preludes for asana-vinyasa: Balakrama (stepping into strength) Chaya Yoddha Sancalanam (churning of the shadow warrior) Kartikeya Mandala (garland of light)
Led Hatha / Shadow Experienced: Philosophise, arrive
Nrtta Sadhana (Pure Dance) is introduced in these classes. Nrrta is the acquisition of shapes through rhythmicnmovements, where one discovers the rhythmic life currents hidden within the body by means of unimposed natural positioning. Ananda Tandava (Shiva's dance of dissolvement) Ashta Matrikas (the eight mother palms) Lasya (Kali's creative dance or Long form) Shiva Tandava (Wild dance of Shiva) Taranyali Krantam (Emergence of the Thunder Dragon)
Individual Asana: Cultivate, personal, supported, self-practice
Glide time assisted self practice classes that allow for individual personalised practice. These are essentially a One to One session in a group environment. Each individual works through their own practice, in their own time/pace receiving personalised assistance.
Classes are glide time, with a 120 minutes window in which to do your practice. Being a boutique studio, these classes are small, so students receive plenty of individual attention and move through the practice in their own pace and rhythm.
It’s a great way to practice, in a yoga specific space with the motivating, focused atmosphere of others practicing with you, yet still maintaining an individual, personal internal practice.

Breath & Meditation - Jo
Breathwork has been round for thousands of years, used by yogis to help them live more present embodied lives.
The way we breathe has a direct impact on how we experience the world around us and our emotional landscape.
These short classes will use a mixture of energising and soothing calming breaths to help create some synchronicity between the mind, body and nervous system.
Beginners are welcome, there will always be a discussion/teaching at the start of the class, about what breath patterns will be used.
Please note: Breathwork is suited to many people, and it is very adaptable, but there are some health conditions where we would recommend you talking to your doctor first before attending if you have any of the following conditions; Cardiovascular Disease, Detached Retina or Glaucoma, Diagnosed Brain or Abdomen Aneurysm, Epilepsy, Bipolar or Schizophrenia, Uncontrolled diabetes, Diagnosed thyroid conditions, High Blood Pressure, Severe Asthma or Pregnancy (early stage or delicate).
